Skin that's sensitive to irritants is also sensitive to UV rays. Even so, because some UV ray absorbents cause skin irritations, we tend to steer clear of applying sunscreen on sensitive skin.
ACSEINE worked to develop a non-chemical type of sunscreen that didn't contain a UV ray absorbent, and in 1996 we released our first non-chemical sunscreen. And what is gaining attention now is even more serious than sun exposure – dryness caused by UV rays. We are pursuing advanced protective coat technology to pro-actively ward that off.
